I have passed by Brookwood Cafe many times. I kept saying I have to go there one day. After going I am sorry I hadn’t gone sooner. While it’s unassuming atmosphere inside there is nothing unassuming about the food and the incredible service. This is a breakfast and lunch Cafe. They have a great menu of breakfast to choose from as well as lunch. The portions of the food are sizable and the quality delicious. What stuck me the most was the incredible attention to the customers. I notice through the entire Cafe (which was packed) the detail of service being given to each and everyone that was there. Customer Service and great food is the perfect combo for a repeat customer like myself. Well done
I've lived in this town for 27 years and have heard about this cafe. I finally went for breakfast with my daughter the other day. Service was good, and the food was good. Normal portion sizes, enough to fill you. The prices were reasonable. I would return. Not sure what took me so long to try it!
Deep breath. I literally wish I could rate this place six stars. There was a breeze five minute wait when we first arrive but the owner brought out coffee for us to enjoy while we waited. The staff could not have been nicer or friendlier, the food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. We spoke with the owner briefly, a physics teacher at the high school nearby and she instantaneously made us feel like we were close friends. They buy their own fruit and vegetables early in the morning, and purchase organic whenever available. Their hard work is evident in the food and atmosphere they have cultivated. I am grateful for the opportunity to have found this place and will most certainly be by if I ever find myself in Hamilton Township again.
Brookwood is my favorite restaurant. Not only is the food incredible, but the staff and owners are so friendly. Every weekend my husband, our daughter and I are constants here! My favorite sandwich is the pork roll on a Kaiser roll and of course, Cooper Sharp cheese! It’s so delicious and filling that I often don’t have room for their delicious breakfast potatoes. During the weekday menu they run specials which have consisted of yummy beef stews served with a buttered roll or roast beef with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. I have enjoyed a delicious chicken parmigiana during a special and also turkey and the fixings. I can’t say enough how much I enjoy Brookwood Cafe. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for delicious food in a great atmosphere with friendly staff! The pricing is reasonable too so you get what you pay for and more.
We had the opportunity/honor to visit the New Jersey State in JUL_FY2024 and it was an amazing experience, a great opportunity to learn more about NJ's history and legacy. We swing by at The Brookwood Cafe, and for sure it's a remarkable place. Definitely, it's a place that deserves my respect. It was a privilege enjoy the amazing food and outstanding atmosphere. Love coming here. Small spot with great food. Been here a few times already and the staff is always friendly. The owners are always there and they greet everyone. You won’t be disappointed here. Great food, great prices and the coffee is delicious!!!!
We’re visiting from out of town and came across this cafe on a google search. The breakfast burrito was EXCELLENT and the homemade salsa is the incredible!! We wanted to take a ton back home with us!!! The bacon was also very good! Next time we’re in the area, we will definitely be back!!
Nice little breakfast spot. It definitely has a hometown feel. Perfect for the simple breakfast I was in the mood for. There are some interesting specials and other dishes that sounded good.
